It all started with an old Box Brownie camera given to me by my father when I was ten. The seed was sown.
After an early career in running spent trying (and failing) to reach the Olympic Marathon I decided to return to the camera and studied photography at Bournemouth University for four years. I followed my passion and worked in documentary for several years until a chance request set me on a new course as a wedding photographer which has lasted to this day.

I was brought up on film which I still use today for some personal projects as the darkroom still retains the magic that first attracted me to photography.

I am frequently mistaken for Mick Jagger, James Blunt and John Bishop particularly at weddings (perhaps another career beckons?!) and I love real ale, good tea and an unlimited supply of cake. To counter this I try and run, walk and cycle whenever I can and so the Dorset countryside makes for a happy home.

You’ve captured the atmosphere of the day perfectly, picking up on things I didn’t even know we were doing.
